50mm Acoustic Rockwool Rockfloor Insulation Slab is a tissue faced, high compressive mono-density insulation slab made from mineral stone wool designed to meet Part E Building Regulations in separating floors. The Acoustic Rockfloor slab is designed to absorb impact noise in separating floors -- a high density stone wool insulation designed to reduce noise transmission between concrete and framed separating floor constructions. It has an open porous fibre structure which is especially effective at absorbing vibration, or impact based sound.

  • Can provide 1 hour of fire resistance combined with acoustic isolation,

APPLICATION
  • Designed for use in acoustic applications in intermediate and separating floors, to meet Building Regulations Approved Document E

  • Tested to BS EN 13162,
  • Rated A1 when tested to EN 13501-1,
  • CE marked to BS EN 13162:2012+A1:2015.
  • Rockwool fibres are not classified as a possible human carcinogen.
