Celotex CG5050 is especially designed for partial fill cavity wall insulation, offering great thermal performance due to substantial R and U values, with decreased board thickness and lower emissivity values due to the aluminum foil facings on both sides of the PIR core. This set of products presents and innovative solution in cavity wall insulation, offering considerable fire resistance, achieving an A+ rating and a Class 0 fire performance throughout the entire construction. The boards are made from resilient and durable polyisocyanurate treated with zero ODP and low GDP blowing agents, all making them highly environmentally friendly. It is advised not to install the boards at low temperatures of 4 C or lower. When adding the boards to the inner side of the wall, the wall ties must be able to hold the insulation in place and the boards secured with at least three ties.
