Novia VariCheck FR is a Class B flame-resistant, variable vapour check barrier. It's specifically designed as an internal Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL), complying with BS EN 13984 and carrying a CE mark. This material meets the EN 13501-1 Fire Classification B-s1,d0 standard and is fit for use in insulated walls or roofs where minimal moisture vapour resistance is essential. It also performs well in floor applications that do not require a fire rating. Its permeability adjusts with seasonal humidity, being less permeable in the colder months and more in warmer periods. The product is available in 1.5m x 50m rolls and features a milky white colour, with 150mm overlap lines marked.

INSTALLATION
To walls
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
- Cut the membrane to size, allowing for overlap at joints.
- Fix the membrane to the wall structure, using suitable adhesive or mechanical fixings.
- Overlap adjacent sheets by at least 100mm.
- Seal all overlaps and edges with suitable tape to ensure continuity.
To roofs
- Make sure the roof structure is clean and dry.
- Cut the membrane to the required size, allowing for adequate overlap.
- Attach the membrane to the roof structure with appropriate adhesive or mechanical fixings.
- Overlap adjoining sheets by at least 100mm.
- Seal overlaps and edges with compatible tape for a continuous barrier.
- CE compliant to EN 13964
