Novia BS 1521 Grade B2 Building Paper is a traditional, non-reinforced PE coated wet-strength kraft waterproof building paper as a waterproof building paper. It is an excellent low-cost material with good grease and solvent resistance. It is used as general temporary protection, concrete shuttering, floor screed break layers and as an external cladding render backing in timber frames. Novia B2 is not suitable for permanent installations where it is required to perform any task on an ongoing basis. For these applications choose either Novia A1F or Novia Polybit building paper.
