Application

Xtratherm Plydeck is designed to provide high levels of thermal insulation and decking in a single operation, suitable for both new and refurbishment flat roof applications. Approximately 16-20 Suretwist fixings are required per 1200x2400mm board, depending on rafter spacing.

Characteristics

• Xtratherm Plydeck features a gas-tight foil membrane on its underside
• Bedding the panel onto a layer of mastic creates a continuous vapor control layer
• Xtratherm Plydeck is resistant to water absorption, making it suitable for damp environments
• The insulation's low thermal conductivity allows for minimal board thickness, while the composite board offers rapid coverage and easy installation
• A second layer of Xtratherm can be added between joists to enhance thermal performance or reduce material thickness over joists
• Xtratherm Plydeck is durable and designed to perform throughout the building's service life
• Lightweight, robust, and easy to handle, Xtratherm Plydeck can be cut using a saw or sharp knife
