32mm Monodeck 32T Timber Floor Acoustic Overlay Board - 2400mm x 600mm

32mm Monodeck 32T is an acoustic insulation overlay platform system bonded direct to floorboards, designed for soundproofing and improving acoustic performance of timber floors, whenever finished floor height is not critical. The system is used in new build, refurbishment and conversion applications, able to reduce impact sound transmission in wooden floors and able to meet the requirements of the Building Regulations, Approved Document E 2003 (including the subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2013). The system includes 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard bonded to 10mm Acoustic Chip Foam (ACF).

• Able to meet values prescribed by the Approved Document E of the Building Regulations, 
• 22mm moisture-resistant chipboard + 10mm Acoustic Chip Foam

• To be used direct to joists for conversions, refurbishments, new build or listed buildings requiring minimal structural change with a new plasterboard or existing lath and plaster ceiling.

• All invasive fittings must be properly treated,
• All structural wall should be sealed,
• The sub-floor, which must be clean and dry, should be covered with proper insulation layer consisting of mineral wool insulation, added between the floor joists,
• The entire structure needs to be watertight,
• The product must be kept and stored in dry conditions.
• Apply Isocheck Acoustic Angled Flanking Band on the edges of the Isocheck boards just before they are pushed against the perimeter walls to isolate the board from the wall.
• Lay Monodeck 32T over a structural timber sub-floor, in brick bond pattern, applying Isocheck adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints.
• Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.

The product is in compliance with Approved Document E of the Building Regulations.
