10mm JCW Impactalay 10 Acoustic Mat is a remarkably cost-effective and one of the quickest and most effective acoustic solutions on the market. It increases airborne sound insulation and reduces impact noise transmission so much that there is no need for the installation of false floors or false walls. JCW Impactalay 10 Acoustic Mat not only increases minimum ceiling height, but it also reduces labour and materials costs considerably. It is made from an acoustic foam, which does not harden or crumble over time.

INSTALLATION
- JCW ImpactaLay can be laid under all final floor finishes, either laid loose or bonded to the floor with an JCW ImpactaLay adhesive.
- Ensure the floor is clean and dry when bonding.
- Always ensure the ImpactaLay sits tightly against the wall or skirting board to prevent flanking of airborne noise.
- Carpets can be laid straight onto the Impactalay 10, and can be glued or fastened by use of gripper rods, however where this is the case a separate perimeter strip is required.
- It is recommended bonding a layer of 6mm plywood to the JCW Impactalay Acoustic 10 Underlay before laying the laminated floor or before laying the vinyl floor.
- NOTE: Ceramic & stone tiling are not recommended due to the compressive nature of JCW Impactalay.
CERTIFICATION
It has been independently tested in a UK Verified independent UKAS accredited laboratory. Pre-completion testing is not required.
